Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.

Do property agents accept a third party attending the inspection?

Yes. We attend as your representative. The agent registers us on your behalf, and we provide attendance confirmation after the inspection. The person letting you in is never the person who approves the application, so being there in person does not change your chances.

How is the video call done?

We use a video calling app that works on your phone. Your Runner calls you at the scheduled time from inside the property and walks you through every area you want to see.

Can I ask the Runner to check specific things?

Absolutely. Tell us in advance or ask during the call. We can focus on storage, natural light, noise levels, water pressure, outdoor space, parking or anything else that matters to you.

When do I get the recording?

We send the full video recording within one hour of the inspection finishing, usually sooner.

What happens if the property is withdrawn or the time changes?

We keep an eye on the listing and stay in touch with the agent. If the inspection is cancelled or rescheduled, we move your booking to the new time at no extra cost. If the property is withdrawn, we can apply your inspection credit to another property.

Can I use my Explorer or Full Search inspections on different properties?

Yes. Explorer inspections must be used within one week of purchase. Full Search inspections must be used within two weeks. You can split them across multiple properties however suits you.

What if I need more than five inspections?

Is my personal information secure?

We only collect the details needed to book and deliver the service. Card payments are handled by our secure payment processor and we do not store full card numbers. Read our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Do you offer refunds?

If we cannot attend the inspection due to our fault, you will receive a full refund or credit. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the inspection, we can offer a credit toward a future booking.
